Anatae is the Royal Capital in Mistarcia where the humans reside. The capital is ruled by the current king Charioce XVII.

Anatae is the largest human-populated city and features all kinds of shops and food stands. The slums are the homes of the poorer residences. Prosperity in Anatae reportedly grew after Charioce XVII's reign began, with demon slaves being brought in to serve as free labor, prostitutes and slaves.
An arena was also built by Charioce XVII so humans could watch demons fight each other to the death. An enormous, underground labor camp was built upon an island and housed humans who opposed the king.
Parts of Anatae were obliterated by Bahamut, who was lured towards the city by Charioce XVII himself. Repairs are being done by humans and demons who are now paid workers.

Religion[]
The people of Anatae worshiped the gods and angels who resided above them. They prayed to the gods and built temples in their honor. The gods and angels in turn rewarded them with divine blessings and gifts.
This worship was violently undone by Charioce XVII, who sought to make mankind stronger and better than the gods. His reign witnessed the destruction of the temples, theft of divine artifacts, and the slaughter of many gods. Humans presumably no longer have a religion now.
