Gaurin appears multiple times alongside his fellow Orleans Knights. When the gods order the retrieval of the stolen God Key, Gaurin joins his fellow knights in searching for the thief. Upon capturing Amira, Gaurin personally locks the entrance to her chambers inside the castle. He loses his temper with Amira's companions during their brief discussion outside Amira's room.

Gaurin is eventually killed at the entrance to the bedchamber of Charioce XIII. He was beheaded by Lavalley, who framed Jeanne d'Arc for the murder in order to turn the king against her.
