Lesser Angels

The Gods and Angels are one of the 3 big races in Mistarcia.

Appearance

The gods and the angels resemble closely to humans with the difference of them having white wings. They also dresses differently from the humans. Most of them also glow in golden or white light. Their outfits tend to be white in color as well.

Where do they live?

The Gods/Angels live high up in the sky, above the humans.

Abilities/Powers

Because of their wings, gods and angels possess the ability to fly. Higher angels can also unlock a person's suppressed powers and bless a person with "their light". Some angels wield swords that they can use efficiently. As a team, gods and angels can form a barrier to hold Bahamut's seal.

Relationships

Humans

the Gods/Angels are highly worshiped by the humans, however this relationship became distorted sometime after the first conflict with Bahamut. Communication between the two species dwindled, to the point that when Charioce XVII became King, he decided that humans should no longer worship the gods and instigated a rebellion. Gods continued to sacrifice themselves to ensure peace, and the lack of respect for what the gods had done brought about a great deal of resentment from the gods towards humans.

The gods sought to defend themselves and prevent extinction by waging a war against Charioce XVII, by relying on El and later Jeanne d'Arc. Using the divine weapon Dromos, Charioc XVII managed to gain the upperhand and obliterate many gods. As the war raged on, the two species were forced to work together alongside the demons to ensure the defeat of Bahamut, whose return was Charioce's fault, and apparently, his intentions.

Following Bahamut's third defeat, the two species went their separate ways, the gods presumably forgiving the humans since Charioce XVII is believed to have annihilated Bahamut for good.

Demons/Fallen Angels

The Gods/Angels are generally not on good terms with demons and fallen angels. They were, at one point, the same species until Satan led a rebellion and lost, leading his supporters to be cast into Hell's fire and be reborn as a new species.

During times of crisis such as the return of Bahamut, Gods/Angels are willing to work alongside the demon kind. They often form defenses and help each other out, as observed by one demon assisting an angel when the latter nearly collapsed.
