Overview

Usage

Used primarily by gods so they can stand and move around in their own land. Gods have been known to travel to the surface world upon these boards as well. It is unknown how to operate them as they seem to act according to the will of the wielder, although tilting them to one side appears to cause them to go in that particular direction faster.

The boards are not restricted to gods as humans can use them too. Demons such as Belzebuth possess his own specialized version which periodically emits blue flames.

History

In Episode 6, Michael, Raphael and Uriel each stood on a board while speaking to the humans regarding Amira and Bahamut. They use them again later on when trying to contain Bahamut's seal.

In Episode 11, Michael runs from Jeanne with his board. After retrieving Rita's antidote, he launches his board into Jeanne's winged demon, killing the creature and obliterating the board.

In Virgin Soul Episode 15, Jeanne and Nina are escorted throughout the land of the gods on these boards. When Jeanne reunites with Sofiel, she hops off of her own and stands on Sofiel's.

In Virgin Soul Episode 16, Nina, Bacchus and Hamsa rely on these boards to chase after El who is flying too fast for them to catch.

Trivia

  • Despite their many appearances throughout the series, these boards are never given an official name.
