Temple Ark is the home to the God Key.
History
The Ark is on holy land and cannot be accessed by demons. 2,000 years ago, it was chosen as the home for the God Key and has since been guarded heavily by the gods.
Amira, a half-human/half-demon, invaded Temple Ark and stole the God Key. The gods promptly began hunting her down and once the Orleans Knights managed to drag Amira back to the royal castle, the gods realized they had no choice but to leave Amira (who is essentially the God Key itself now) at the castle, for her demon blood would prevent her from remaining at the Ark.
Temple Ark was also one of the locations used to store pieces of Dromos, an ancient weapon of mass destruction.
