Declaration of War is the eleventh episode of Shingeki no Bahamut Virgin Soul.

Synopsis

Gabriel performs the ceremony to unlock El's divine powers and restore his ability to speak. El declares his intention to rescue his mother Jeanne d'Arc. When Gabriel arrives at the coliseum to demand Charioce XVII to end his tyranny and defiance against the gods, she is met with hostility from all humans present and Charioce XVII insists she must use force to get what she wants from him. El witnesses this exchange from Heaven and agrees with Gabriel that it is up to him to restore humanity on the right path. Meanwhile, Nina and Jeanne attempt a prison break but the two are caught when Charioce XVII comes to inform Jeanne of the gods's intentions. Nonetheless, Charioce XVII still givesJeanne another chance to to prevent another battle between angels and humans. In return, he would spare Jeanne's son and the gods from unnecessary bloodshed. However, Jeanne refused, stating she cannot betray her loyalty to the gods, forcing Charioce XVII to prepare himself for battle. Rita arrives soon after and offers to free the two women from their cells.
