Rise of the Nightmare is the twenty-third episode of Shingeki no Bahamut Virgin Soul.

Synopsis

Kaisar meets up with Dias in Anatae to stop the fighting. The two encounter Alessand and stop him from killing some demon children. Kaisar goes off to see Charioce while Dias stays to deal with Alessand. Alessand acts remorseful towards Dias, but it was just an act to get Dias to drop his guard. However, Dias is aware of the trick and stops the attack by grabbing the dagger with his hand. Alessand runs away and he encounters one of the demon children who he tried to kill when he gets cornered by Dias. Alessand gets killed by the frightened demon child. Kaisar is assisted by Rita as she uses necromancy to use dead corpses as a bridge to reach Charioce's airship. Meanwhile, Jeanne and Azazel fight the Onyx Knights and having been pushed to their limit, the knights fall dead due to the stone's side effects. With Charioce all alone, Jeanne and Azazel unleash a powerful attack him, but Kaisar intercepts it and is killed.
